Located in the heart of Provence, near the Southern Rhône Valley, the Perrin family estates is a land of legendary wines, ideally located with a soaring balance of harmony and freshness.

Their domain encompasses several of the most treasured vineyards & estates in France such as Chateau de Beaucastel - birthplace of the Perrin family success, founded in 1549, and a place where grapevines
have been cultivated for 2,000 years - Domaine du Clos des Tourelles, La Vieille Ferme and of course Miraval, another true testament of the savoir-faire of the Perrin family.

A TALE OF A FAMILY

First, Le Domaine is the tale of a family. Rooted in this land, the Perrins have made wine in France’s beautiful Southern Rhône Valley for over ten decades. Each generation, like a branch on a long-lasting tree, dedicating their lifetime to this purpose: farming the vineyards they tend today.

From the grandfather Jacques down to today's 4th generation with Jean-Pierre and François, the 5th generation with Marc, Pierre, Thomas, Cécile, Charles, Matthieu and César and a 6th generation coming along, the family has been working hand in hand, overseeing every aspect of the business: from the vineyard to the cellar, marketing to sales. This combination of talents within the family has always ensured the stability of their long term success.

With a robust perspective that turns clock back over a century, it is no coincidence the Perrin Family is the leading organic wine grower of the Southern Rhône Valley, where they occupy the regions best terroirs. As stated by Robert M. Parker Jr, an iconic US wine critic: "The Perrins believe in natural winemaking, unfiltered wines, and routinely produce long-lived classics that are among the finest in the world"

Biodynamics have always been a long-time element of the Perrin ethos - they applied sustainabble & regenerative practices long before it became a thing ! The Perrin mentality remains an ungoing balance of “technology & tradition".
